Graceful and vocal, Balinese cats are longhaired relatives of the Siamese with affectionate personalities.

Fun Fact:
Balinese cats are not from Bali; their name refers to their graceful movement.

History:
The Balinese developed from longhaired kittens born in Siamese breeding programs. Breeders admired their silky coats and elegant movement, eventually establishing them as a separate breed. They retain the social, talkative nature of Siamese cats.
